Stainless Steel Valve
Valves are devices used in fluid systems to control the direction, pressure, and flow of fluids. They are designed to start or stop the flow of media (liquids, gases, powders) within pipes and equipment and to regulate the flow rate. Valves are control components in piping and fluid transportation systems, used to change the cross-sectional area of the flow passage and the direction of fluid flow. They have various functions, such as guiding flow, stopping flow, throttling, preventing backflow, diverting flow, or relieving pressure by overflowing.
Valves for fluid control range from the simplest globe valves to the highly complex valves used in automated control systems. There are numerous types and specifications of valves. The nominal diameters of valves vary widely, from tiny instrument valves to large industrial pipeline valves with diameters up to 10 meters.
